From New Intern to Confident Contributor: My Second Semester at Coworking on 15th

Returning to Coworking on 15th and Holiday Properties for a second semester gave me the opportunity to continue building on the experience and skills I developed during my first internship term. Coming back into a familiar environment allowed me to take on responsibilities with more confidence, work more independently, and gain a deeper understanding of the real estate and marketing industry as a whole. What once felt completely new quickly became part of my routine, and this semester showed me just how much I’ve grown both professionally and personally.

Growing Confidence Through Experience

One of the biggest differences between my first and second semester was the confidence I gained in my role. During my first semester, I spent a lot of time learning systems, processes, and adjusting to a fast paced environment. This semester, I felt much more comfortable taking initiative and handling responsibilities independently.

Tasks like communicating with prospective tenants, managing listings, coordinating maintenance updates, and assisting with office operations became more natural over time. As I gained experience, I was able to focus less on learning the basics and more on improving efficiency, problem solving, and strengthening my communication and organizational skills.

A Deeper Understanding of Real Estate Marketing

Continuing my work with Coworking on 15th and Holiday Properties gave me a better understanding of how much strategy goes into real estate marketing and operations behind the scenes. Throughout the semester, I continued assisting with rental listings, guest and tenant communication, and daily operations while gaining more insight into how marketing decisions impact the overall client experience.

I also continued writing blog content and creating SEO-focused marketing materials. Over time, I became more confident identifying keywords, organizing content effectively, and creating writing that is both informative and engaging. This experience showed me how important digital marketing and strong communication are within the real estate industry.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

One of the most valuable parts of this internship has been the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned as a marketing major in a real world setting. While classes provide a strong foundation, this experience helped me develop practical skills through hands on work and professional communication. This semester also reinforced the importance of being proactive and adaptable. Real estate is a fast moving industry, and learning how to stay organized while balancing multiple responsibilities is a skill I’ll continue to carry forward.

Looking Back and Moving Forward

Looking back on my second semester at Coworking on 15th and Holiday Properties, I can confidently say this experience has played a major role in my professional growth. Returning for another semester allowed me to strengthen my skills while also recognizing how much progress I’ve made since the beginning of my internship.

I’m incredibly grateful to Eric Diaz for his continued mentorship, guidance, trust, and advice towards my future endeavors throughout this experience. Working in an environment that encouraged learning, independence, and growth made this opportunity especially valuable.

This internship further confirmed my interest in marketing, client communication, and relationship focused work. I’m thankful for everything I’ve learned during my time here and excited to carry these experiences into future opportunities.
